SOCIAL PERSCRIBING

Social Prescribing in the NHS

In recent years, our concept of healthcare has evolved leaps and bounds. No longer is it just about treating illness, but promoting overall well-being, it is about holistic care for all.

As social prescribing becomes more integration into the NHS’s approach towards holistic health, we are honoured to support several borough’s with their networks of community care and support

Why Social Prescribing?

  • Holistic Approach: By addressing the emotional and social aspects of well-being, social prescribing complements clinical treatments, ensuring patients receive all-round care.

  • Reduced Pressure: By directing non-clinical cases towards social initiatives, there’s a potential reduction in medical appointments and support people in ways they need which are not always pathologising their difficulties.

  • Community Integration: It’s a two-pronged approach. While patients benefit from community resources, the community, in turn, receives an influx of participants, fostering local cohesion and resilience.

Our Honour and Responsibility

The fact that the NHS recognises and supports social initiatives like ours speaks volumes about their forward-thinking approach. Being entrusted with such a responsibility isn’t just an honour; it’s a testament to the potential and effectiveness of our workshops.

Each workshop we hold, every individual we assist, reinforces our commitment to this cause. We're not just conducting sessions; we're actively contributing to a larger vision of holistic health.

The shift towards social prescribing underlines the NHS's dedication to reimagining healthcare. For us, being a part of this journey is more than just an opportunity; it’s a privilege. As we continue with our workshops, our aim remains steadfast—to contribute wholeheartedly to the NHS’s vision and make a tangible difference in the lives of the people we support.
